The Right Work The Right Way

The Right Work The Right Way

When you define success, how often do you define it based on what someone else has or what you've seen someone else model, rather than thinking, what does success look like in my own life based on the unique giftings and strengths that God has given me? And I think this is important because having a healthy soul is not at its core about doing less work. It's about doing the right work the right way, going in the strength that you have.

And I think sometimes we think soul care. I love John Mark Comer. I love "The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry." But I think sometimes in trying to eliminate hurry, we eliminated urgency in work.

And I don't think that's what he was trying to say. So I think you can actually be an incredibly healthy person working hard if you're carrying your strength and it's actually flowing from your identity. So here's the question that we are going to wrestle with today.

It's very simple. Will you go on the strength you already have, or waste it waiting for the strength you wish you had?
