So what happens in ministry leaders, it's not usually a moral explosion. It's not usually a public scandal. It's a slow leak.
An unresolved wound, a neglected rhythm, an unprocessed betrayal, an exhaustion you normalize, an identity tied too closely to outcomes. And over time, it floods everything. Your marriage, your joy, your patience, your calling.
And here's what makes it dangerous. You can still function while you're flooding. You can still preach, still lead, still produce, but underneath the surface, pressure is building.
And here are three truths I want to leave you with, and I'll close. Healthy leaders build healthy churches. Bottom line, healthy leaders build healthy churches.
You can take home some really good truths on building church today, but that won't even last if you're not healthy. Second thing, the number one collapse in leadership isn't strategy. It's soul failure.
