A leader running on empty can be destroyed by anything. A leader rooted in Jesus can recover from anything. So before you build anything, build a soul strong enough to sustain it.
Before you run, learn to rest. Before you chase methods, pursue intimacy. You see intimacy over activity, formation over performance, abiding over hustling, health over hurry.
You cannot give what you do not possess. And the most important thing you will ever lead is your soul. It's your soul.
